Leading Independent Social Network Announces Partnerships with Lifetime Television Morning Show — "The Balancing Act," ABS-CBN

Boca Raton, FL, November 24, 2008 – Multiply, Inc. (http://multiply.com/), the world's fifth largest independent social networking site, announced today media partnerships with ABS-CBN, a Philippine-based media conglomerate, and Lifetime Television's morning talk show, "The Balancing Act." The partnerships will increase Multiply's reach across a number of leading consumer channels, exposing the social network's best-of-breed social networking and media sharing services with new audiences. For partners, Multiply is enabling communication with and feedback from audiences in an interactive, social netting, offering insight into audience demographics and interests at a much deeper level than possible with ratings alone.

Multiply has partnered with "The Balancing Act" to host the show's official community site, available at http://thebalancingact.multiply.com/, which will enable viewers to have discussions with one another around show segments, share their own stories, and enter sweepstakes to win prizes. In addition to providing a social forum for viewers, the community site will also feature contests, sweepstakes and giveaways.

"We're very excited to be providing the social community for Lifetime Television's The Balancing Act and their viewers – busy women who value their time and their relationships," noted Multiply founder and CEO Peter Pezaris. "Multiply allows people who care about their privacy and security the ability to safely share their photos, videos and lives with real life friends and loved ones. Our features appeal to people seeking a meaningful way to keep in touch with family and friends in an easy and convenient manner."

ABS-CBN has bought a $5 million minority stake in Multiply, with the option to invest an additional $4 million in marketing services through the partnership over the next two years. In addition to ABS-CBN's continued promotion of Multiply in Southeast Asia, the partnership will allow both companies to continue their global expansion and awareness as both enter into new markets and expand service offerings, including mobile social networking.

"ABS-CBN has been a tremendous partner to Multiply through our previous partnership agreement, and has been an invaluable asset in raising Multiply's brand awareness across their audiences," added Pezaris. "Our new agreement will allow us to continue to expand our reach with ABS-CBN audiences, as well as promote global awareness as our companies expand into new markets."

Multiply gives people the ability to share their personal media – including photos, videos, blogs and other content - strictly within their personal network, which includes direct contacts and those connected to the user through real-life relationships. This not only creates the most realistic representation of a user's social network on the Web, but also instills a sense of privacy, relevancy and control that is unique to the service. With more than 11 million users posting 2.5 million photos, 20,000 videos and 55,000 blog entries daily, Multiply is also one of the world's largest multimedia sharing Web sites.
