I have already complained about Cusco. Not much more to say. It is actually a beautiful city, but the into-your-face-tourism made it hard to stand for me. Together with a bunch of great fellow travelers we 'did' a few of the many, many Inca ruins around Cusco. One day on horseback, poor animals. Nothing to do with 'riding', the horses would just trod along the same trail they apparently do every day since many years....
Machu Picchu was worth the hassle (and money - a rip-off!!) to get there. But instead of boring you with lengthy descriptions I decided to bore you with a few pictures instead (see
